AGH (Aluminium chlorohydrate, sometimes referred to as Aluminium Glycinate Hydroxide in formulation shorthand) is an aluminium-based salt used primarily as an antiperspirant active that reduces sweat by forming temporary plugs in sweat ducts. It also has mild astringent and antimicrobial properties relevant to odor control.
