Dextrin palmitate ek ester hai jo dextrin (starch se bana polysaccharide) aur palmitic acid se milkar banta hai. Cosmetic formulations mein ise oil gelling agent, thickener aur texture stabilizer ke roop mein use karte hain. Yeh oils ko thicken karne aur creamy texture dene ke liye commonly employ hota hai. Formulations mein smooth consistency maintain karne mein ye helpful hota hai aur products ko stable rakta hai.
